Today we had two lectures: one about Daylight engineering and the other about acoustics.

The first one was given by Gregor. He gave an introduction about light and radiation according to the seasons. Then we had some discussions about how the sunlight can influence our work, life and health. In the end, he presented some technical principles and the introduction of our workshop (to design 8 m2 of windows in a 64 m3 room).

The second lecture was given by Robert Schild. He presented some basics about acoustics, noise level and how can we minimize the noise in a house based on different materials.

In my opinion both lectures were very interesting and I’m looking forward to check the result of the workshop on Saturday.
